A question was asked among the beasts of the field as to which of the animals produces the greatest number of children they have at a birth.
They argued among themselves. Some animals said they can give birth to three, others said five and the dog said ten or more.
They went to the Lioness and asked her to settle the argument
"And you," they said, "how many sons do you have at a birth?' The Lioness laughed at them, and said:
"Why! I have only one; but that one is altogether a Lion."
The others understood. The Lion is the King of all animals. The value is in the worth, not in the number.
